ISF in Timor-Leste, no pipeline to Timor-Leste
The President Commission C of the National Parliament for Finance, Economy and Anti-Corruption, Manuel Tilman said that the presence of International Security Forces (ISF) in Timor-Leste is to assist the new government for the next five years.
Furthermore, Mr. Tilman said that the new government knows that if the ISF is withdrawn from Timor-Leste then the government will crumble. (DN)

The United Nations Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste (UNMIT) will display a photo exhibition in Oecussi for UN day in Timor-Leste that will depict UN assistance during the elections this year.

President José Ramos-Horta said his programmes will reduce reduce poverty by looking for ways of developing rural areas.
“I will help the poor by organizing ways of helping groups in rural communities.Many people in Timor Leste have been living in conditions of poverty for more than a hundred years and I promise to be a good president and representative of the poor,” said the President in his intervention on the 62nd General Assembly of United Nations in New York.According to a presidential press release, education, employment and porverty reduction are priorities for him and the new Government.
