The best email for Frank is frank@ffitz.com, I think. In answer to your questions, quickly: The attachments are in Winword 97, for now. If you can't read them let me know and I'll do something else, but things are a bit rushed here, as you know. What info on the site: IFET 2. IFET member list (I'll get you something by tonight, for now you can link to the Int'l group list on ETAN's site. 3. IFET membership application form (attached) Observer Project 4. Link to International Ideas site for Code of Conduct (unless you want to reformat it and put in on our site) Their site map is at http://www.int-idea.se/sitemap.html 5. Application form for observers (We'll mail you this tonight) 6. IFET's two recent letters to UNSG (already on ETAN site, could be links) 7. List of country contacts for observer inquiries. 1. IFET observer project mission statement (below) At present they are: USA: Pam Sexton 30 West Lake Ave. #D Watsonville, CA 95076 USA ph. 1-831-728-4190 cake@exploratorium.edu CANADA Maggie Helwig 710 Bathurst St. Toronto, ON M5S 2R4 CANADA ph: 1-416-537-7290 fax:416-588-5556 maggie@web.net NORWAY Ronny Hansen St. Halvardsgate 25 B, 1 Oslo, 0192 NORWAY H:47-22-68-28-88 Mobile/fax:47-92-97-86-07 ronh@online.no IRELAND Oran Doyle East Timor Ireland Solidarity Campaign Suite 13, 3rd Floor, Dame House Dame Street, Dublin 2 Ph/fax+353/1-671-9027 orandoyle@tinet.ie NETHERLANDS Saskia Kouwenberg Jacob van Lennepkade 44hs 1053ML Amsterdam + 31 20 6836 533 or + 31 76 5972791 skouwe99@westbrabant.net more to be added upon confirmation PHILIPPINES U.K. FRANCE MALAYSIA AUSTRALIA Then, for any place else, for now, list me with the IFET info on the signature block for this note. ======= How to organize the site -- I see a home page, with two broad sections: IFET per se, and the IFET observer project. Perhaps a third one on the UN. This may expand later. In each section, I leave it up to you, at least for now. Downloadable documents: We'll have to make PDF versions of the observer application, and probably some training materials. For now, only the IFET application is in PDF, and it's already downloadable from ETAN's site. Perhaps it should be moved to the IFET part of the site. Frames are OK, I think. I think there is CGI-BIN. Frank could tell you more. Frank can also give you information on the server. No graphics yet -- ideas are welcome! The etan.org site also contains provision for email aliases and two kinds of lists. If you can become familiar with these (manuals are online), that would be great. So far we are only using the simpler one, but perhaps the other is worth learning about. I have a list of close to 100 names for IFET international discussions which I would like to get up there, and there will be others (such as observers-to-be and international contact people). I'll be home late Friday night, if you want to talk more, and on email before then. Thanks for all your help this week, and from now on. A Luta Continua! -- Charlie PS: Ben or John may call you about laying out an Estafeta. Is this possible in the next few weeks?
