East Timor: Portuguese experts drafting election law proposals Dili, April 3 (Lusa) - A team of Portuguese legal experts is drafting election law proposals for the East Timorese government, the team's leader said Monday. Jorge Miguéis, of Lisbon's Internal Administration Ministry, told Lusa Prime Minister Mari Alkatiri expected to present parliament with electoral law bills by June. Miguéis said his three-person team was helping draft electoral legislation for the legislative and presidential polls slated for 2007 in East Timor and for the creation of Dili's future National Elections Commission.
