and ex political prisoner, and an Amnesty
International prisoner of conscience, Filep
Karma was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment
for treason in 2005 and released early in
2015

Papua. Her organisation is one of the few
NGOs that provides pro bono advocacy for
West Papuan political prisoners and rights
activists.

- academic, activist and long-time advocate
for West Papua.

human rights, democracy, LGBT+ freedom and
global justice since 1967.
His Foundation, the Peter Tatchell
Foundation supports West Papua’s right to
self-determination.
