Dili - Nobel peace laureate 1996, Bishop Carlos Filipe Ximenes Belo, SDB, is planned to have an audience with East Timor Governor Abilio Jose Osorio Soares and all high officials of the province [MUSPIDA TK I] in relation to the upcoming meeting and dialog between East Timor public figures in Dare on September 10 to 11.
"After Bishop Belo formed the organizing committee to hold the dialog last week, now the Dili Diocese leader will audience with officials of the province to get comments and moral support for the success of the event," said chair of the organizing committee Francisco Kalbuadi in Dili, Saturday.
He said that Bishop Belo understood that to hold the dialog supports were needed from all corners: the government, the military and ET communities. Therefore the Bishop said he would also audience with local officials from the military and the police corps.
According to the plan, on Monday (September 9), Belo will consecutively have an audience with ET governor, the military commander, the police chief, the attorney chief, and chair of ET legislative assembly (provincial parliament).
During those occasions, Belo will come with main members of the dialog's organizing committe.
