Scharfe" <pet@web.net> 18 MAR 99 - 10:44 East Timor: Pro-Indonesia Militia Lift Siege of Catholic Mission Dili, March 18 (Lusa) - Pro-Jakarta militiamen have lifted their siege and death threats against Catholic nuns in the East Timor town of Maubara after the intervention of Indonesian troops, one of the nuns said Wednesday in Dili. "The colaboration of the military was requested and the incident came to an end," the nun said, without providing further details.
